ConverterTec presents breakthrough solutions at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024
From 24 to 27 September 2024, ConverterTec joined global industry leaders at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024, one of the most influential events dedicated to the wind energy sector. The exhibition gathered more than 40,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibitors from 40 countries. Our stand B6.139 became a hub for discussions with customers, partners and industry experts, as well as the stage for the premiere of a new solution for the renewable energy market: the Data Acquisition Panel (DAP).
WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 as a global innovation hub
The trade fair in Hamburg, spread across more than 73,500 square metres, offered a space for knowledge exchange, industry insights and the latest technological developments. The accompanying programme included conference sessions focused on topics such as:
- development of international wind markets
- innovations for onshore and offshore systems
- the future of renewable energy in the context of global transformation
The event confirmed the growing importance of technologies that enhance the efficiency and reliability of wind farms.

United expertise of the ConverterTec teams from Poland and Germany
ConverterTec’s presence in Hamburg was the result of strong cooperation between ConverterTec OEM (Poland) and ConverterTec Aftermarket & Service (Germany). Thanks to the joint involvement of both teams, visitors could explore the full spectrum of our capabilities:
- service and retrofit solutions for frequency converters
- diagnostics and optimisation of existing systems
- design of solutions that support the dynamic growth of renewable energy infrastructure
Our experts held numerous conversations with long-term partners as well as new prospects, presenting the company’s vision for collaboration within the European wind energy market.
Premiere of the Data Acquisition Panel (DAP) demonstrator
A highlight of our exhibition was the introduction of the Data Acquisition Panel (DAP), an autonomous low-voltage cabinet designed to collect, store and visualise measurement data. This solution is particularly valuable at locations of planned wind farms, supporting resource assessment and early-stage project development.
Key functionalities of the DAP include:
- hybrid power supply: 230 V AC grid input plus photovoltaic modules
- up to 12 hours of autonomous operation thanks to built-in batteries
- GSM router enabling secure cloud data transmission
- real-time measurement visualisation powered by Grafana
The DAP premiere generated significant interest, and discussions during the fair have already translated into enquiries about pilot projects and initial deployments.
