EHS Specialist

Position purpose

As an EHS Specialist you will ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace by identifying risks, implementing safety programs, and ensuring adherence to legal and company standards.

Your Tasks

• Implementing and overseeing health, safety, and environmental procedures,
• Preparing risk assessments related to health, safety, and the environment, and coordinating measures to mitigate risks,
• Maintaining health, safety, and environmental documentation in accordance with internal standards and applicable legal requirements,
• Ensuring compliance with all environmental permits,
• Periodic reporting on safety status (analysis of the number, types, and causes of health, safety, and environmental non-conformities),
• Conducting training on occupational health and safety and environmental protection,
• Collaborating with external institutions,
• Overseeing waste management,
• Participating in internal and external audits and implementing post-audit actions,
• Initiating and implementing measures aimed at improving workplace safety and reducing the facility’s environmental impact.
• Collaborating with production department managers to improve working conditions and the safety of production processes.
• Overseeing repairs and collaborating with the facility technician.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a related field,
• Experience in a similar position at a manufacturing company,
• Very good knowledge of English,
• Practical knowledge of health and safety and environmental protection regulations,
• Ability to organize one’s own work and make decisions independently.
