Electrical Engineer/Test Engineer (hardware)

Position purpose

An Electrical Engineer’s job purpose is to design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while meeting technical, regulatory, and customer requirements. 

Your Tasks

• Designing test systems for electrical cabinets
• Supervising the construction of test stands
• Testing prototypes of electrical cabinets
• Creating sequences for continuity tests
• Preparing the infrastructure for test systems
• Supervision and maintenance of electrical equipment
• Liaising with the operations team (analysis of results, warranty resolution)
• Collaboration with NPI engineering in the early stages of product design
• Maintaining contact with customers

Requirements

• Educated as an electrical, electronics or power engineer
• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Communicative proficiency in English
• Understanding of technical documentation, electrical diagrams and basic electrical skills (operation of multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering, etc.).
• Experience in test automation of equipment
• Knowledge of the tools and technologies mentioned above
• Ability to think analytically
• Ability to work in a team
• Capable of driving results across organizational boundaries
