Electrical Engineer
Position purpose
An Electrical Engineer’s job purpose is to design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while meeting technical, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Your Tasks
- Design of electrical control cabinets and switchgear based on customer specifications and the following directives and standards: Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU), Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2014/30/EU), IEC 61439-1, IEC 61439-2.
- Preparation of related engineering documentation, including wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical drawings.
- Creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system.
- Analysis and implementation of engineering changes.
- Participation in DFMEA preparation and reviews.
- Continuous improvement of product documentation.
- Review of customer specifications and implementation of changes resulting from subsequent revisions.
- Commissioning activities and electrical measurements of designed products.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in the design of control cabinets and electrical switchgear.
- Proven ability to select electrical components in accordance with customer specifications and applicable standards.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in a relevant industry.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively within an international project team.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as EPLAN and AutoCAD or DraftSight (2D).
- Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills.
