PIMEW 2024 – the key forum for Poland’s offshore wind sector

On 23–24 October 2024, Gdynia hosted the 13th edition of PIMEW Offshore Wind – Logistics & Supplies, organised by the Polish Offshore Wind Energy Society (PIMEW).  It is the largest technical and logistics-focused forum in the region, dedicated to building and optimising the supply chain for offshore wind. The event brought together more than 500 industry experts and decision-makers.

With the rapid expansion of offshore wind projects in the Baltic Sea, both those already under development and upcoming investments, the role of strong logistics capabilities, local suppliers, and an efficient value chain is more crucial than ever.

Our role and participation

For ConverterTec, PIMEW 2024 was an opportunity to actively support Poland’s offshore wind transformation, not only by delivering advanced technologies and services, but also by strengthening relationships with investors, developers, and fellow suppliers.

Throughout the conference, we were able to present our capabilities, discuss potential projects, and gain deeper insight into the industry’s needs in the areas of logistics, service, and technology for offshore wind.
