Aftermarket ConverterTec at WindEurope Bilbao 2024 – technologies that captured the industry’s attention
From 20 to 22 March 2024, the ConverterTec team took part in the WindEurope Annual Event in Bilbao, one of Europe’s most important gatherings dedicated to wind energy. Our stand, 3F14, drew many visitors looking for advanced frequency converter technologies and tailored manufacturing solutions.
This year’s edition brought together representatives from public administration, industry, NGOs, research institutions and financial organizations. Discussions focused on the development of both onshore and offshore wind power in light of the ambitious climate goals set for 2030.
WindEurope Bilbao 2024 welcomed around 12,000 participants, including policymakers, engineers, technology experts and buyers. More than 500 companies from across the world presented their solutions, offering a broad view of the latest innovations shaping the wind energy sector.
Networking and business meetings – three days of intensive knowledge exchange
The event’s conferences, panels and workshops created the perfect setting for new business relationships and for deeper dialogue about the future of wind energy, whose role in Europe’s power system is growing rapidly.
At our stand 3F14 we presented:
- manufacturing capabilities in Poland, including build-to-print and build-to-spec solutions,
- comprehensive expertise in frequency converter technologies,
- a long-term cooperation model for partners in the renewable energy sector.
The stand was a shared space for two company divisions, ConverterTec OEM and ConverterTec Aftermarket & Service. Combining their perspectives gave visitors a complete view of our service portfolio and our development roadmap.
A highlight of our presence was the premiere of the new corporate film, which shares the mission, values and ambitions of ConverterTec. It was accompanied by new printed catalogue presenting our offer in detail. With the support of our international team, we were able to answer in depth the technical and business questions brought by our partners.
Moving the wind – thank you for the inspiring meetings
We extend our thanks to everyone who visited us during WindEurope Bilbao 2024. The interest in our technologies, many conversations and project opportunities made this edition especially valuable for us.
